Recycled Material 26cm Tall Vase

An inventive use of old newspapers, these recycled paper mache, plastic and capiz shell vases are made by local, fair trade makers in the Philippines.   The shell pieces are highlighted with a tone, its surface texture and light reflective qualitites give it unique character and presence.  it contrasts beautifully with plant life plus it unique story makes gives it character and presence.  We were attracted to not only a great handmade product but the fact that it is made from recycled materials made it even more appealing.  The pulp is applied over a plastic bottle which ensures that the vases and flowerpots are waterproof.
