Firstly, I would like to welcome you to our new online store…we have launched in the midst of our busiest time of 2020 but we hope you enjoy this new way of shopping with Edit & Oak. We are pleased to say that our physical shop has now reopened, and we are beyond delighted to be able to welcome people back to our store in Altrincham but now…you can also shop with us online too! You can browse our collections from the comfort of your own home, arrange a click & collect or to have your items delivered by post all via our website.
We have been busy curating a collection to help make your Christmas special, whether it be finding solutions for decorating your home with our beautiful new paper decorations from Dutch designer Jurianne Matter, filling it with the scent of our Edit & Oak winter home fragrance collection or adding some of our new shades of velvet cushions to your sofa. We have lots of inspiration to get your home ready for the festive season.
There is also a dedicated gift section which includes skincare and self-care favourites with some new additions such as Seams Hand Cream; which is quickly absorbed and originally designed for seamstresses and The Farm Soap Co; a Vegan Hair & Body Soap in wonderful fragrances such as Clementine, Bergamot and Lemon & Lime. Other great gift options include contemporary handmade jewellery, our cosy scarf range and Notabag, an inventive bag brand that have created a multi-wear, foldaway bag that can be worn as shoulder / handbag or backpack.
Another enjoyable part of the stores preparations is our Christmas window! This year we have created a Christmas Tree made from reclaimed boxes, including our popular brick boxes which we lovingly painted in beautiful shades from the Little Green Paint Co before decorating and filling with a mix of our favourite gift ideas, homewares and Christmas Decorations. We also added some lights (what is Christmas without the lights!) including our night sky behind our tree, lights on our trees outside the store and decorating the shopfront…we are definitely keeping things Merry & Bright in December!
Lastly, I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has supported us, particularly through this extraordinary and challenging time, and to wish you all a very Merry & Bright Christmas.
