My name is Ceri, I’m so excited to have recently joined the team here at Edit & Oak. As I have always had a keen interest in design, home decor and lifestyle products I was thrilled at the opportunity to be a part of such a lovely independent business and to learn more about all of the amazing products we stock.
I love the wide variety of items available online and in store and thought it would be fun to share a few of my personal favourites. Whether you’re redecorating and looking to elevate your space, looking to treat yourself or someone else or just wanting to find some inspiration, I hope my recommendations can help you to find something special!
Face oils can be a great addition to your daily skin care regime as they allow you to easily introduce essential fatty acids and nourishing nutrients that can help to maintain youthful skin by repairing hyperpigmentation, dehydration, and preventing signs of ageing such as wrinkles, fine lines and dark spots. The ‘MORE Rosehip Oil’ is rich in linoleic acid (omega 3), pro- vitamin A (retinoic acid) and Vitamin C which makes it a great option for all skin types including those that are more sensitive or acne prone. Rosehip oil has many wonderful properties as it is anti ageing, effective in treating and fading acne scars and inflammation whilst moisturising and revitalising your skin. Rosehip is also considered a ‘dry oil’ which allows for it to have fast absorption into the skin without leaving a greasy residue.

As we use our hands so much every day to carry out a wide variety of tasks it is extremely important that we remember to nourish and protect them with a good hand cream, packed with vitamins and essential nutrients that can lock in our skins moisture and keep our hands feeling soft and smooth. I love the ‘Aery Happy Space Hand Cream’ as it is made with essential oils of rose, geranium and amber as well as aloe vera and olive leaf extract which soothe the skin. Aery’s hand creams are of natural origin and are both cruelty free and plant based, free of any parabens, sulphates and silicones which makes them not only great for you, but also the planet!
Lighting can really transform a room and level up your space. I love orange toned lighting as it a makes for an easy way to achieve a cosy and inviting atmosphere whilst adding a tasteful pop of colour. This whimsical mushroom shaped glass lamp combines playful design with functionality and is sure to garner lots of attention and compliments from guests. If orange isn’t your thing, this lamp also comes in a wonderful range of fun shades so you can choose one that best fits your space.
As I do a lot of pottery in my spare time, I find that I am always on the lookout for new fun and creative pieces that I can add to my collection to both use and inspire me. I love the HKliving 70’s collection handleless cups as they have a wide range of fun and interesting colours and patterns. I personally like the ‘Moss’ and ‘Rock’ colour ways best as I feel that their more simple, neutral design would be able to fit into a variety of spaces. The HKliving handleless mugs are microwave and dishwasher safe and hand finished - making every piece unique!
5. ‘Falling Bow Pendant Necklace - 18k Gold Plated’
I love the ‘Falling Bow Pendant Necklace’ for its elegant and delicate design that is perfect for both casual daytime wear or a night out. This piece is from a women owned business and is made using ethically sourced materials. Whilst it looks great worn alone, the matching drop bow earrings make for a timeless and eye catching set when paired together. I think this would be the perfect choice for a gift or even just a special treat to yourself!
